When it comes to restaurants there's just something about places that can be described as "hole in the walls" or "hidden gems." I've found that some of the best food you'll ever eat can come from the most unassuming place. Some of my favorite places to eat around the Tri-State are holes in the walls, so I use that term lovingly.  So when I was looking up the best Chinese food in the state, it came as no surprise to me when I saw that this restaurant is small, unassuming, and truly a hidden gem.

The Best Chinese Restaurant in Indiana

Recently Love Food put together a list of the best Chinese restaurants in each state.  After pouring over menus and reviews they have decided that the best Chinese food in Indiana comes from a small little hidden gem called Imperial Palace in Indianapolis.

The menu at Imperial Palace, a firm favorite in Indy, is packed with Chinese and Chinese-American classics like garlic chicken, beef with broccoli, and orange shrimp. Should you want something different, however, you only have to ask – the staff are so friendly and accommodating, they might just whip up something especially for you. Customers say it’s a cut above.
