Odds are that you either have one of these mowers or know someone that does. There's a massive recall of mowers in Illinois due to a risk of burn and fire hazards according to a bulletin from the government.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission just shared this urgent recall of mowers from a variety of manufacturers that have one thing in common: they all have engines that pose a risk of burn and fire. This reads like the list of the most popular mowers in Illinois that all have Kawasaki engines. The repair recall affects 68,500 mowers including countless thousands in the Land of Lincoln.
"Kawasaki Engines used in Bad Boy Mowers, Big Dog, Bobcat, Cub Cadet, Hustler, John Deere, and Kubota brand lawn and garden equipment"

Bad Boy Mowers - Rebel BRB54FX850, Rebel BRB6135KA, Rebel BRB61FX850, Rebel BRB7235KA, Revolt BRV54FX850, Revolt BRV61FX850, Rogue BRG5435KA, Rogue BRG6135KA, Rogue BRG61RD35KA, and Rogue BRG72RD35KA
BigDog - mower model Stout MP
Bobcat - ZT6000, ZT6100, and ZT7000
Cub Cadet - model ZTX-6
Hustler - model FasTrak SDX
