We know we live in perilous times with several conflicts flaring up in different regions especially in the Middle East. But, that doesn't explain why a US Air Force 'Nuke Sniffer' plane just flew directly over Missouri. Something strange is in the air quite literally.

The plane I'm referring to is the WC-135 Constant Phoenix that the US Air Force describes like this:

The WC-135W Constant Phoenix atmospheric collection aircraft supports national level consumers by collecting particulate and gaseous effluents and debris from accessible regions of the atmosphere in support of the Limited Nuclear Test Ban Treaty of 1963.

Translation? It can detect nuclear materials from the air. It's a plane you can monitor via Flight Aware under the code name COBRA31. Tonight, it took a direct flight over Missouri.

You might recall that this past weekend, a US 'doomsday plane' GRIM99 flew directly over Illinois headed east.

That caught the eye of more than a few who believe that war is imminent in the Middle East including YouTube channel NY Prepper.

Why did a nuke sniffing plane just fly directly over Missouri?

Let's be clear. It doesn't mean something is dire or there is an emergency. My guess is that the military is moving the plane to a staging area in Florida in the event that it needs to go overseas. It's not typical that it would make such a direct path over Missouri, but it's not a reason for real alarm.

Yes, there are some who believe that there are Hamas sleeper cells in the United States and yes, there is some possibility that the military could be on the lookout for dangerous materials these groups might utilize. But, I'll take it as a positive development that the best of the Air Force have our back and are monitoring everything.

It's worth mentioning that one of the military's 'doomsday planes' has not moved in a couple weeks. You can confirm this on Flight Aware also. It's code name is "TITAN25".

As of now, this is just an interesting development that has happened in a dangerous time.
