I saw this interesting survey by The Hill. It's the result of a question posed a couple months ago to those called "expats" who gave up their life in America and moved out of the country. They say it was done by "language tutoring company Preply". What they learned was interesting and the top destinations were surprising to me.

OK, so I'm thinking of leaving Missouri. What do the expats recommend?

Here are the top 5 destinations for Missourians who think the grass is greener somewhere else.

Why would someone just up and leave Missouri for a foreign country? The survey says that better and more affordable health care played a big part in the decision. Those that fled also weren't pleased with cultural stuff happening in Missouri and/or America either.

I spent a brief amount of time in Germany, but cannot imagine leaving America for good. However, if I were to be offered the title of King of Costa Rica, I might change my mind.
