Illinois Family Fears that a Building is Trying to Kill their Mom

Do you believe that a building can be evil in and of itself? That is what a family in Illinois thinks as they are convinced that it's trying to kill their mother. The strange part? The building has taken the life of its owners many times in the past.

The building in question is the Original Springs Hotel in Okawville, Illinois. It has quite a history. The hotel's official website says it was first built in 1867. A fire completely destroyed the structure in 1891, but it was rebuilt and opened again on May 1, 1893.

The UnXplained Zone on YouTube just shared a new visit by paranormal researchers including Grant from the original Ghost Hunters who had this to say about what they're investigating:

Grant and the team journey to the Original Springs Hotel in Okawville, Illinois after receiving an urgent call for help from a man named Jeremy, the hotel owner's son. Reports of specter sightings and unexplained activity, combined with the resort's remarkably morbid history, have Jeremy concerned for the safety of his mother, Mary.

Jeremy and his wife Kendra are convinced that the hotel is consuming his mother and they fear she'll go down the path of previous owners who have taken their lives.

The ghost hunters encountered strange readings in one of the hallways especially when they mentioned the name "Anna".

They also picked up weird magnetic readings on a staircase. It's best to know that you're playing with fire when you're interacting with unseen forces.
