I want to be clear that I'm not saying this Illinois guy actually recorded a Bigfoot scream. That's why I added the question mark. I do know that not everything is as it seems after some research.

Some things to note about what you're about to watch and hear. From what I can tell, this is a new video share from The Unexplained Zone TV show on YouTube, but the event was recorded in northern Illinois back in 2015. Watch and more importantly listen. You'll want your sound turned up for this one.

One thing I do not like about YouTube shorts is that many times there isn't sufficient time allowed to fully explain a topic. That was definitely the case here. Not content to just settle for not knowing what the payoff is, I did some digging and found the full segment where an audio expert found something curious. This guy felt the sound wave was fishy.

He discovered the sound allegedly recorded in the woods of northern Illinois sounded suspiciously like a roar from a T-Rex in a show about dinosaurs.

Did the mushroom hunter really record an audible scream from a Bigfoot or pull a fast one by grabbing some fun dinosaur sound effects and fooling us all? I'm gonna go with that second option as I don't know any natural animal (that's not a movie dinosaur) that can make a sound like that one.
