Illinois is Suddenly #1 in a Very Important Beer Category
I am an odd messenger for this message, but you should know that Illinois is suddenly number one in one of the most important beer categories that will matter to everyone who enjoys sudsy brews.
To prove that things can be learned on the Illinois sub-Reddit, I share this. It's an infographic that was just shared that shows the Land of Lincoln is now #1 in America for the lowest average cost for a 24-pack of beer.

I noticed one discrepancy in that map share. It's based on Miller Light and Bud Light. What about the non-light beers? Asking for a friend.
I will confess that I feel like a bit of a hypocrite as I have never drank beer in my life. Strange to have a name synonymous with the Wild West, gambling and living a crazy lifestyle, but it's true. I'm not a prude, but have never had a desire to sample it. I had a friend spike a drink of mine once (not with beer) and I don't remember anything that happened afterward, but the stories are that of legend. That's why I don't feel it's best for society if I travel down the beer road.
All that being said, cheers Illinois.
