Best Local Chain in Illinois Has Now Expanded to LA & Singapore

You know you're good when you dominate Illinois tastebuds to such an extent that you find yourself expanding to Los Angeles and even Singapore and that's exactly what's happened to one of the Land of Lincoln's most famous pies.

You would think that a website called Love Food would know food and I believe this is evidence that they do. Their choice for the best local chain in Illinois is an iconic one. If you've traveled to Chicago solely to sample pizza, you've probably included Gino's East in at least one stop.

The interesting thing I did not know is that Gino's East now has a Los Angeles location and a global presence in Singapore. Here's what Gino's East said about their expansion around the globe:

We’re attempting our longest cheese pull yet with our expansion to Singapore! Known for its rich culture & beautiful landscape, the Lion City is only missing one thing – deep dish pizza!

You can also get Gino's East at some grocery stores. Be aware that you better have a hefty oven to bake it successfully. My non-hefty oven did a poor job of getting all that deep dish cheese heated properly, but I have no doubt a real oven would do just fine.

I envy anyone that can have this deep dish pizza in Chicago regularly. It just hits me funny that Illinois' best local chain is now invading California and Singapore, too.
