Here’s your chance to see more than one million vibrant tulips at this year’s Richardson Farm Tulip Festival.

What Makes Richardson Farm’s Tulip Festival Unique

With over 300,000 new bulbs planted in the fall of 2025, it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest tulip festivals in Illinois. Row after row, visitors can take in stunning displays of colorful blooms, along with 100,000 daffodils spread across 10 beautiful acres. It’s the kind of place where you’ll want to slow down, walk the paths, and really soak in the scenery. The Richardson Farm Tulip Fest opens April 22.

What You’ll See: Tulips and Daffodils

According to a press release, “Among the dozens of varieties on display will be the light orange Chongming Love, white Hakuun, eye-popping purple Zantapur, and even Spring Pearls, which are a brilliant red on the inside with a pearly, paler color on the outside.” With so many unique varieties, no two sections of the farm feel the same.

Best Photo Opportunities at the Festival

Beyond the flowers, this is also a great spot for photos. Whether you’re taking graduation pictures, family portraits, or even snapping a few shots of your dog, Richardson Farm is dog-friendly and picture-perfect at every turn. Free parking is available, and kids three and under get in free, making it an easy and affordable outing.
