Chicago makes the list of the Best spots to Celebrate Christmas
Chicago, Illinois lands in the top 5 of the best cities to celebrate the Christmas Holiday. One website explains why you need to take a Christmas trip to the Windy City if you want to feel the holiday spirit!
According to the travel website thetravel.com, Chicago ranks at number 4 on their list of 10 Best US States to Celebrate the Most Iconic Christmas. Chicago ranks only behind Denver in first, followed by Savannah (Georgia) in second, and Seattle coming in third. So what about Chicago makes it an iconic place to celebrate Christmas? On the site they say...
"If it's snowing during the holidays, then Chicago is the perfect destination. This bustling city turns into a winter wonderland with its festive lights, decorations, and traditional holiday markets. Take a stroll down the Magnificent Mile or take a photo next to The Bean — Chicago has everything visitors need for a memorable Christmas."

I will say that I have a ton of bias in writing this, being a born and raised Chicagoan who lived in the city as an adult for 5 years, Chicago is the best city in the US for Christmas time in my opinion. The Christkindlmarket, the Magnificent Mile shopping, Millenium Park's mega Christmas tree, Navy Pier's Christmas celebrations, the list goes on and on of the things that make Christmas time in the US's 3rd largest city. Are you traveling anywhere for the Christmas Holiday?
