Unless you live under a rock, pretty much everyone on the planet knows about the show Saturday Night Live. But one major thing I was surprised to learn was how many of the show's cast members grew up right here in Illinois.

I used to consistently practice standup comedy, and to this day it's one of my favorite things in the world. I grew up daydreaming about and idolizing channels like Comedy Central and shows like SNL.

Honestly, I was really proud of both the set and the audience's reaction to it haha! But needless to say, comedy is really important to me and SNL cast members and writers really influenced me to dive into my curiosity about it.
