You might not have heard a lot about it, but the city of Davenport, Iowa, currently is dealing with a with a Top 10 flood crest of the Mississippi. You can view an entire album of pictures on the city's Facebook page.

I found these photos simply incredible. Despite the flooding the show (or baseball game) must go on, as the saying goes. A temporary pedestrian walkway was built by the Quad Cities River Bandits baseball team so fans could reach Modern Woodmen Park. You can see it in this picture:

A flood wall was built around the stadium in 2011 to allow the games to be played even when surrounded by floodwaters, as it is right now. Here's the field at night. A unique experience, to be sure.
