If you're going to indulge in junk food, at least make it worth it.

National Junk Food Day was the other week, did you raid your pantry to celebrate? You might have missed the national day, but that's okay. Every day is a great day to have a snack. A little junk food never hurt anyone.

Zippia revealed each state's favorite junk food and I have to admit, I'm very disappointed in Illinois. I don't even think our answer is considered junk food! The unhealthy version of it isn't even that bad for you.

So what's Illinois' favorite junk food?

Skinny Pop

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Skinny Pop. But when I think "junk food" I don't think -

  • Non-GMO
  • Gluten-Free
  • No artificial flavors

If you're having junk food, you want the opposite of that list. Like movie theater popcorn with all of the butter and all of the salt. Other than sunflower seeds and granola bars, Skinny Pop was the healthiest on the list.

I'm more down for Wisconsin's favorite.

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about. But I think if I had to pick my favorite state's answer I would have to choose Florida.

Mini donuts? I mean, come on. You can't beat a donut, and mini donuts are even better.

Also, we need to talk about Missouri's answer...

Grandma's Cookies

See now at first I really thought they meant cookies your grandma brings over. Then after a quick Google search, I realized it's a brand of cookie.

I still think it's a hilariously random answer.
