Retiree John Cantone, 60, accused Rachel Shaper (the nurse) of doing unwanted things while he awaited his surgery while in the hospital. Mr. Cantone's wife stated that Rachel:

So here's how the story goes...While in the hospital’s cardiac intensive care unit, Mr. Cantone says that nurse Rachel, "initiated unsolicited sexual relations, including intercourse.” Whoa, what???

So, Mr. Cantone was drugged up and was being monitored electronically...Rachel has a "history" of being THAT nurse...She was fired previously, from Oak Lawn Hospital in Illinois, for "crossing professional boundaries with a patient." Now when she started her new job at Advocate Christ Medical Center (where this situation took place) she did NOT report this to her new employer...Oops.

So she apparently took a "don't touch patients in a weird way" class, and now she is not doing that anymore? So she did the “voluntarily boundary course,” and now she's back to taking people's temps or whatever...

The lawsuit was looking for $200,000 in damages.
