When something is so popular most places that specialize in making all sorts of money want to capitalize.

There's nothing wrong with it, it's the American way.

I guess what I'm saying is, that it's kind of suspect that Illinois' favorite pizza chain only has 16 locations.

It's almost like 24/7 Tempo is just taking a guess with this one on their list of The Most Popular Pizza Every State. The truth is, they're not:

To determine the most popular pizza in every state, 24/7 Wall St. reviewed pizza chain rankings from TOP Data, a research and marketing agency. A dozen of the largest pizza chains were ranked based on GPS search data from millions of Americans from 48 states (data from Alaska and Hawaii was not available).

Personally, and who knows, maybe everyone in The Land of Lincoln is like me, but I don't normally eat chain pizza.

So maybe 24/7 Tempo had to look high and low in order to figure out our favorite pizza chain in the state?

Anyway, the most popular one in Illinois is Marco's Pizza, followed by Godfather's Pizza and then Papa John's.

If you're keeping track, Marco's Pizza only has 16 locations in Illinois.

A few years ago I did a review of Marco's Pizza on YouTube. It was the definition of "fine."

Personally, Marco's isn't my absolute fave pizza chain, I'd probably go with Papa John's if I had to make a decision between all available pizza joints.

Is it just me or does it seem slightly strange Marco's Pizza is considered Illinois' favorite chain pizza?
