Five female college students at Monmouth College in Illinois are going to hell...wait that might be a little strong. No actually, stealing baby Jesus comes along with a "don't pass GO, don't collect $200, and go straight to hell." SG

So here's the story. A Maroon SUV pulled up to a local nativity scene, and like thieves in the night, the five ladies made off with Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus statues...this just in, several animal statues were missing too. That's just ba-a-a-a-a-d.

The ladies of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority were later found behind a Taco Bell, where they were caught red handed. This was a "prank" according to the sorority. A prank that the women came up with while hanging at a local bar, trying to figure out what to do that night.

The admitting of the Jesus stealing was the first step, the ladies later told cops...

“We did it, can we give them back!” - Jesus Stealer #1, Crawford

Brittany Smallberger, 22; Samantha Bundy, 21; Emily Triebel, 22; Crawford, 18; and Cathryn Sargent, 21 are facing misdemeanor theft charges and a life full of fire and brimstone.

What sounds good while drinking with friends at a bar, isn't always the best thing to do. One time Double T and myself stole a NASCAR cardboard cutout and we also drew KISS faces on mannequins at a bar. Both super funny at the time, but not the best ideas. But it's no JESUS STEALING...I'm just trying to make myself feel better.
