Illinois Car Break-In Is A Reminder Of What Criminals Should NOT Do

I imagine there is not a Break Into Cars For Dummies but if there were the content of this article would be in it. The first line of the first chapter would probably be, "DO NOT DO IT!" or something close to it.

If you're in any neighborhood group or app you'll agree it seems crime has gone up over the last year. Or, is it possible more people are being caught and reported?

A Rockford woman shared a story about her vehicle being broken into. She alleges they stole her insurance papers, a lunch bag, and some money. What she says the person or persons left behind in the car before their getaway is a headscratcher.

LIFE TIP: Always check your pockets before getting out of a vehicle that is not yours, especially if you're breaking into it.
