If You Go to Only One Illinois Christmas Light Display it’s This One
Some holiday light displays create an entirely new level of awe. What you'll see on this enchanted stroll is unmatched anywhere in Illinois.
Let me say up front that I have not yet had the opportunity to see this holiday lighting event, but from the pictures, I can tell...
This is NOT your ordinary and traditional light display
And still there are people who give this incredible display a bad review for not using traditional lighting techniques. This event is quite legendary for using many styles of illumination throughout the display.
Get ready to have many of your senses peaked as you enjoy your walk along the paved path,
Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum
The event kicks off with a special IllumiBrew sneak preview on Thursday, November 18th and Friday the 19th. Featuring samplings of seasonal beers and ciders.
From November 20 through Jan. 2, 2022, stroll 50 acres of the Arboretum’s majestic landscape covered in color, light and sound.
You'll follow a one-mile paved path and along the route, warm up by a crackling fire and roast up some marshmallows for s’mores.
I'm also hearing that the Arboretum has five new exhibits. You'll also be treated to festive music along the illumination trail.
