Here’s How You Can Get A Brick From Thompson Elementary

Thompson Elementary will be torn down beginning Wednesday, April 17th. 

If you would like a brick from the old building for a keepsake, it's pretty easy.

You have to show up to the site on Wednesday and ask for one. Actually, you probably don't even have to ask. Construction workers will be putting some of the bricks outside the construction zone for anyone to come and take.

Once the school is completely razed, the Rockford Park District will take over the land.
