Ha, ha, very funny; the jig is up. That's probably what the person who found this purple, bedazzled toilet thought when they saw it sitting in their yard earlier this week.

It's that time of year when people do play silly pranks and tricks on people, but to the person who last saw this loo, it's not a prank. Well it sort of it is. According to WREX, the Rockford Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit is using two toilets to "flush out domestic violence."

For a small donation, Rockford residents can play a joke on their friends by having one of these rhinestone covered johns placed in a friend's yard, that friend then has to pay it forward with a donation to Children's Safe Harbor to have it removed.

Unfortunately, it was removed and now police have no idea where it is. The toilet was dropped off at a home in the 2200 block of Harlem Boulevard in Rockford on Wednesday and hasn't been seen since around 1:30 in the afternoon.

If you see it, police are asking that you bring it back to where it originally was or somewhere where they can find it.  They'd like it back in one piece and there won't be any charges.  There's an actual waiting list of homes it needs to be taken to so if you see it, please return it.
