The new normal includes restaurants that don't offer sit-down dining.

This new style of restaurant is often referred to as a ghost kitchen.

Galley Solutions:

A ghost kitchen, simply put, is a delivery-only restaurant. There’s no physical space for customers. Orders are made in one location, picked up by a delivery driver, and enjoyed off-premise.

While Food Network star Guy Fieri already has a few different restaurants in Illinois, he's opened ghost kitchens in those spaces to get his food out to customers.

It's a great idea, because who doesn't want to take a trip to Flavortown?

Deadline:

The menu features Donkey Sauce to go, and has just 19 items available. Fieri’s Flavortown has such dishes as Bourbon Brown Sugar Barbecue Wings for $13.99, Jalapeno Pig Poppers for $12.99, the “Chicken Guy!” classic for $11.99, and Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese Burger for $12.99.

Each one of Fieri's Flavortown ghost kitchens is connected to his Buca di Beppo restaurants in Wheeling, Lombard, and Orland Park.

To order, you'll need to go to the Flavortown website and have it delivered via DoorDash, UberEats, Postmates, or GrubHub.
