Family & Police Frantically Search For 23-Year-Old Belvidere Man
Update: Belvidere and Rockford Fire Departments searched Kishwaukee River but didn't find anything to assist in the search for Kyle Rogers.
Kyle Rogers of Belvidere went to a concert Thursday night at Apollo Theatre, made a stop for a nearby bar, and headed on a short walk home, before disappearing. Family and Police are now actively searching for the 23-year-old.
A source close to the family told me Belvidere Fire Department security surveillance footage (at 11:50 PM, May 10th) shows Kyle walking from the Salvation Army parking lot towards Dari Ripple. Authorities and family are assuming he was headed toward a constructed path through a park that leads to his home. That is the last anyone has seen of the young man. A member of Kyle's family confirmed he has no medical conditions and this is "beyond unusual."
Person Missing:
Kyle Rogers; 23-years-old, 5'11", 170 lbs., light brown hair, blue eyes.
Last seen leaving Niko's Bar near the Salvation Army parking lot towards Dari Ripple, wearing blue Max Effort t-shirt, jeans, and brown dress shoes.
