Chicago Man Dies Trying To Avoid Blue Line Fare

A quick reminder that your life isn't worth $1.75.

I've done plenty of dumb things in Chicago between the hours of midnight and 4 AM so I'm not passing judgment here, just a word of caution.

SunTimes - Dylan Thorn, 22, was trying to climb up the railing onto the platform to avoid paying a train fare when he fell about 3:40 a.m. in the 2000 block of West North Avenue, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Again if you know someone who has a tendency to do stupid stuff you might want to pass along this story.
