Christmas is days away and if you're not quite feeling it yet, a tour of some of the best holiday lights the Rockford area has to offer might help.

Statelinekids.com put together a massive list of the cream of the crop when it comes to Christmas lights in the Rockford area.

The list includes commercial and residential stops. Altogether, there are 14 different stops in the Rockford area that feature the best Christmas lights.

The commercial light stops Statelinekids.com recommends are:

  • Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens
  • Festival of Lights
  • Rotary Gardens
  • Woodward, Inc.

The best residential lights you need to check out are located in Cherry Valley, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Roscoe, Rockton, Beloit, Janesville, Belvidere, and of course Rockford.

As a radio guy, I love the holiday light extravaganzas that integrate the special radio station you need to tune to in order to hear and watch the synchronized movements of the lights. When it's done right, those types of holiday lights are the absolute best thing around.

Are there are any other residential or commercial holiday light stops you think need to be added to the list? Tell us!
