Belvidere has been getting a lot of great news this week! On Wednesday news broke that Beef-A-Roo is planning to open a new location in Belvidere, and now they'll get the chance to devour delicious Olivo Tacos too!

I may have been living a little in the dark on this, and if you live in the Belvidere area, you might already know that Olivo Taco has been working on a second restaurant location downtown at 603 S State St. Well, the good news is, Olivo Taco has already softly opened its doors to the public, and they have now officially set the date for the Grand Opening celebration...Monday, August 2, 2021 at Noon!

Olivo Taco's new Belvidere location marks the business' second brick-and-mortar location, (the first being on College Ave. in Rockford), but don't worry, the famous 3 for 5 taco trucks won't be taken off Stateline area streets anytime soon!

What's Different About Olivo Taco's Restaurants?

If you've never visited Olivo Taco's restaurant on College Ave., there are two things I think are fantastic about their restaurants vs. their taco trucks. First, you always know when and where you can get your hands on their tasty tacos. Second, the restaurants have an expanded menu so you can try something other than their 3 for 5 taco deal. In fact, I recently spotted this review from someone who recently tried Olivo Taco's new Belvidere location, and I think it is spot on. Corrine Wight said;

I would get 2 orders if its your first time trying the Tacos they are seriously that good my 1st time trying I pulled out of the parking lot and turned right back in and bought more.

Learn from Corrine's original mistake...always order more Olivo Tacos than you think you can eat, they won't go to waste.
