BBB’s Dennis Horton On The Dangers Of Door-To-Door Scam Artists

There's been quite the uptick in reports of scam artists knocking on doors and trying to trick, or in some cases, force homeowners into a bad situation.

Whether it's tricking you into costly repairs, quoting you one price then demanding a lot more that what was agreed upon, or even attempting to force their way into your home, the Rockford Regional Office of the Better Business Bureau is warning you to be very, very careful when it comes to answering an uninvited knock on your front door.

Dennis Horton is the Director of the Rockford Regional Office of the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and he joined the WROK Morning Show on Tuesday with the latest information on some insidious schemes that are being attempted here in the Rockford area:
