Another Popular Farmer’s Market Is Open For Business In Rockford

Fresh produce is about to get a lot easier to come by. 

One of the more popular farmer's markets in the area is open for the season beginning today.

MyStateline - The Edgebrook Farmers Market will be open every Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and features locally grown vegetables, fruits, flowers and plants in addition to organic produce, baked breads & sweet treats, artisan cheeses, honey, eggs, jams, jellies, and more.

This one isn't very far from the station so I've stopped by there more than a few times.

My favorite part about the Edgebrook Market is that it changes every week. Either there are different vendors or someone finally harvested a new crop. It really is one of the better ones in the area.

The Edgebrook Farmer's Market will be open every Wednesday from now through October.
