Watching a movie by starlight is always one of the highlights of any summer.

The Amazon Treasure Truck will be rolling into Chicago this July to hold two outdoor screenings at Navy Pier. Best part? Totally free.

Movie fans will enjoy an evening of free entertainment under the stars, complete with films, popcorn, giveaways, activities and entertainment for all ages, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The two movies that will be shown are Hotel Transylvania on July 7th and The Isle of Dogs on July 14th. Both dates are Saturdays.

I can't speak for Hotel Transylvania but I can personally attest to the fact that The Isle of Dogs is a fantastic movie. The animated film from Wes Anderson (Rushmore, Royal Tennenbaums, Grand Budapest Hotel) is a visually stunning story about a young Japanese boy stranded on an island populated by (talking) dogs. If you liked any of Anderson's other films, you'll love this one. Plus talking dogs. Kids will love it.

As stated above there is no admission, so it's first come first serve. Make sure you get there early to get a good seat!
