Alexandria Shooter Identified As Man From Illinois

The man who shot five people at a baseball practice for Republican Congressional members has been identified as a man from Belleville, Illinois. 

CBS - Law enforcement officials have identified the suspected gunman in the early Wednesday shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise as James T. Hodgkinson.

Mr. Hodgkinson wasn't shy about his political leanings on his Facebook page, sharing many posts that were left leaning. While there were no violent posting he was a fervent Bernie Sanders supporter and was unhappy about the Trump presidency.

News is still rolling out on this. Five people were shot but no one was killed thanks to the fact that Capitol Police was on the scene.

I will highly recommend that you avoid his Facebook page. Not a lot of rational thought is going on there from anyone.

UPDATE: James Hodgkinson has since been pronounced dead of gunshot wounds from police.
