If you like hunting for rarities and fun bargains on eBay, here’s something for you to check out. The state treasurer's office reunites people with forgotten things; perhaps put into a safe deposit box. An opportunity to bid on those things online is coming. "Someone puts something away for safekeeping, then they pass away, or they forget about it," Frerichs said. "The contents are turned over to us. We try (for 10 years) to reunite people with their property. If, after that time, we can't? We auction it off."  The bidding begins June 22, but you may view the items on the I-Cash portion of the treasurer's web site now - www.illinoistreasurer.gov
