2 Dead In Rockford House Fire; 3 People Escape

ROCKFORD, Ill. (AP) — Two people have died in a house fire in Rockford. The fire department responded to a 911 call at a two-story home, shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday. Acting district chief Brad Walker says a man and a woman were found unconscious. Three other people were able to escape the fire.
