Just last year the General Assembly passed a 32 percent tax hike. Now, one gubernatorial candidate is speaking out in favor of another tax--the progressive income tax.

J.B. Pritzker's calls for a progressive tax have been notably short on specifics, but it's something the Democratic candidate for governor of Illinois thinks we should definitely consider because Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Missouri are doing it.
