The story of Cecil the Lion made worldwide headlines and a villain out of a Minnesota dentist, and if you follow the news, you're probably aware by now that a German big-game hunter recently killed an elephant that was reported to be one of the largest seen in that area of Zimbabwe in over 30 years. The elephant, estimated to be 50-60 years old, had tusks that weighed in at over 120 pounds.

Regardless of how you feel about big game hunting and those who take part in it, I thought it was kind of refreshing to see one of nature's largest predators still breathing, and ready for action.

I don't know if the guys who have to jump into action when there's a little "glitch" in the release would use the word refreshing:
