Minor League Team To Feature Krispy Kreme Doughnut Hot Dog

Minor league baseball season is approaching and many fans will tell you it's fun, competitive, and generally affordable to attend. Plus you always can count on some incredibly unhealthy food item to be sold at the concession stands.

One of this year's top entries comes to us for the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Frawley Stadium will offer an as-yet-nameless creation that features a glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut wrapped around a hot dog covered in crumbled bacon and raspberry jam.

What's not to love?

The concoction does not yet have a name. If you have an idea, the Blue Rocks are holding a contest to do so. The prizes aren't great unless you live in Wilmington so enter at your own peril.
