First things first: the trailer for the upcoming Jurassic World movie is pretty cool (if you're into pretty cool movie trailors).

However, the movie's website is really outstanding. Outstanding in the sense that, if you didn't know this was all about a movie, you might think this place is for real.

From then homepage you're greeted with the current weather conditions on Isla Nublar, the island home of the ill-fated theme park. Current weather, park conditions (including park capacity, show times in the park, wait times for the attractions, etc), and tips for planning your visit.

Jurassic World's creators play it all very straight. As I mentioned, the goal is to make this website look exactly like any other website for a major global attraction, and in that, they've succeeded quite well.

You can choose the park package that best fits your budget, read the reviews of previous park visitors (which had to have been fun to make up), then make your selection. When you click "buy tickets now" you're taken to Fandango's website to purchase your tickets to the movie.

Here's a look at the Jurassic World homepage:

For you, or the kid in your life, it's well worth taking a few minutes to check it out.
