• If you were planning on fly out of both of Chicago's airports this morning, chances are you are probably still stuck there. Hundreds of flights have been grounded at Chicago's two airports after authorities say a contract employee deliberately set a fire at an air traffic control center in Aurora. Police say firefighters found the man wounded in the basement of the facility but say he did not shoot himself. They say the fire was not a terrorist act.
  • Wisconsin authorities have seized hundreds of marijuana plants worth more than an estimated $1 million in Dane County. Agents searched three homes in Madison and a fourth in Sun Prairie on Wednesday. A 44-year-old man was taken into custody and booked into jail.
  • A night out on the town ended with yet another drunk driving arrest for a Janesville man.  Police were called to the Zoxx on W. State Street just before 11:30pm Thursday.  32-year-old  Dustin Oconnor was bothering other customers because his dog had ran off. Police arrived to see Oconnor in his car and getting ready to leave, but stopped him.  He was arrested for his 7th OWI.  He also faces charges of disorderly conduct and marijuana possession.
  • Chicago’s Wrigley Field could look a lot different by the time the Cubs throw the first pitch in the 2015 baseball season. Work on a $575 million renovation is starting today and workers will start dismantling the outfield bleachers next week as they prepare to put up a huge video board and several outfield signs. The bleachers will then be rebuilt.
  • The Illinois State Police in Pecatonica have released the results of an enforcement detail on tuesday and it includes 52 total citations. The detail was focused on occupant restraints or seat belts, which included 32 tickets, but other citations were given as well. The project was funded through IDOT.
  • A Janesville man was arrested for disorderly conduct and domestic violence  after allegedly threatening a woman with a gun. It happened just after midnight at 202 S. Academy Street.  Police say 27 year-old Kevin Moore was arguing with a woman inside of his home and pulled out a gun and displayed it in a threatening manner. Moore has since posted bond and was released.
  • A Rockford motorcyclist  is injured after being hit by a car last night the 3200 block of North Main Street. Our partners at Eyewitness News report that the man is alive but the severity of injuries are not known at this time. Eyewitness news has also learned that the driver of the car was reportedly drunk.
