This team might not be playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday but that doesn't mean that they don't have the best city for football fans.

In a new study from WalletHub, Green Bay ranked as the number one city for football fans.

While they ranked #1 overall, they trailed, New York in the "teams and performance" rank and just behind Clemson, South Carolina in the "costs and engagement" rank.

Yes, this list features every city where football of some sort is played. Whether professional or collegiate.

Green Bay ranked #1 in "most accessible" NFL stadiums in front of Buffalo, Glendale, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.

Packer fans also were ranked at #1 when it comes to "most friendly and engaged NFL fans." Pittsburgh, Boston, New Orleans, and Oakland round out the top 5.

For Chicago and Bears fans in general the rankings aren't quite as positive. Chicago ranked in the bottom five of NFL cities for "highest average ticket price for an NFL game," "least accessible NFL stadiums" and "least friendly & engaged NFL fans."
