Rolling Meadows, Illinois is about an hours drive away from Rockford, and well worth the trip to see this amazing Christmas light display called "Lights On Magnolia".

Five houses located at 4504 Magnolia Dr. in Rolling Meadows, Illinois have created a synchronized light show that runs every night from 4:30 p.m. to midnight.  The show features lights dancing to 10 different songs and is 23 minutes long (then runs on a continuous loop).

Cash and canned good donations are accepted at the end of the route to benefit local food pantries, so be sure to bring some along when you take the tour.

My family is planning several "light rides" over the next week, so it looks like we'll have to take the adventure a little further east this year to take full advantage of the Christmas beauty in Illinois.
