Are you smelling smoke? Seeing a haze? That is the smoke from the Canadian wildfires in the air moving through Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
We know that life can be dangerous. I will admit that I didn't know that Wisconsin was in so much jeopardy though until I saw 12 somewhat terrifying risk assessment maps from FEMA about potential natural disasters.
If the skies have a hazy look to them Monday, it'll be for a similar reason to what Missouri and Illinois have been dealing with over the past few weeks, but this time the wildfire smoke is originating from a brand new place.
That campfire-ish scent that was wafting through the stateline last week has been chalked up to Canadian wildfires, and now another side-effect of those wildfires, this time visual, is here in the form of really cool, colorful sunsets.
