Stay At Home

Governor JB Pritzker's order requires businesses to remain closed with few exceptions. Now, a violation is a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $2,500.

Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle says that Pritzker's stay-at-home order exceeds the authority of the governor's office.

The governor says that we may be "bending the curve" here in Illinois, but the cancellations and postponements may be here though the warm weather months.
