Missouri and Illinois have something unfortunate in common. Both states had meat sold in their grocery stores that is now under a sudden urgent recall due to a dangerous contamination that can cause serious illness.

This latest grocery store robbery in Illinois proves you can't stereotype type thieves and what they will take the risk to steal during a heist.

In the interests of full disclosure, I'm happy to point out that I proudly worked for a grocery store (Pineway Supermarket in Oregon, Illinois) for about three years, and even with that experience, I didn't know what the number one most stolen item is.

Regardless of where you stand on the issue of meat consumption (vegan or vegetarian, rare or medium-well), you may agree after watching the video below that this was not what one would call a successful protest.
