This summer, Lake Geneva will host its first-ever Taco Fest.

To say I was surprised to see Illinois' top small restaurant chain just so happened to be a place that doesn't include a location in Rockford would be an understatement.

The weekend is here. If you're like me, you're probably looking for something to do.

Looking outside, I can see that the problematic weather that pushed back this year's Illinois Snow Sculpting Competition a week (the weather interfered with snow-making equipment) is quite obviously gone.

Officials at Ice Castles LLC announced this week that they are bringing back the much-beloved frozen works of art this winter to the Geneva National Resort, just west of Lake Geneva.

It's a move some say is a violation of his own Stay-at-Home order. The governor does not seem to see it that way.

Last year, Ice Castles were downtown along the shore of Geneva Lake. This winter, they'll be heading to a famous golf course.

There is a unique way people that live on Lake Geneva in Wisconsin receive their mail during the summer and a few students are lucky enough to get hired as mailboat jumpers.

A friend of mine who lives in Atlanta asks me these questions every winter (especially when we're getting blitzed with snow, ice, and/or subzero temperatures): "How do you people live like that? And, why do you live like that?"
