No one is fond of our twice-yearly habit of setting our clocks ahead or back one hour (we jump ahead this weekend). Some people are really bothered by it, while others just find it to be a minor inconvenience. Either way, it's safe to assume that clock-changing does not have a lot of fans--so what would happen in Illinois if we just stopped doing it?

Here's how it would be different if Illinois said "enough" and stopped doing it every year.
