We all know that our state doesn't always fare so well on lists of the "Best of," and unfortunately shows up too often on the "Worst of" lists. However, when it comes to the "livability" of state capitals around the US, our Springfield does pretty well.

There's excitement about this team that hasn't been felt in ages, and many give credit to manager Joe Maddon, a man so beloved in Chicago that he'll probably never have to pay for dinner or drinks again.
