Add this to the (long) list of things that sound cool but I would never try myself. Three students at Maranatha Baptist University are kayak the length of the Rock River from the Horicon Marsh to its end at the Mississippi. That's 320 miles!

Well, as you can see below, Jon Gress, Jake Boucher, and Garrett Feik have made it to Illinois and will be stopping in Rockford later today:

The other objective of the trip is to help raise funds for a new mascot costume (the Sabercats!), the re-painting of the gym floor, and the purchase of new uniforms for the athletic teams. The goal is $10,000 and all the info on how to help is also on the Facebook page.
