Only Two Days of Fall Golf Are Left Before A Golf-Free Winter

We've got a couple of great days of weather left in the fall season before the temperatures really start to drop, so why not work in some practice or a round or two before old man winter forces your golf game to hibernate?

I just got a note from our friend Laura Gibbs-Green of the Rockford Park District, and she wanted me to share some info with you:

After Friday, November 18, 2016, the following Rockford Park District golf courses and driving ranges will close for the winter months:

 

• Aldeen Golf Club and Practice Centre,  1902 Reid Farm Road, Rockford
• Elliot Golf Course and Driving Range, 888 South Lyford Road, Cherry Valley
• Ingersoll Golf Course, Sandy Hollow Golf Course, and Sinnissippi Golf Course closed for the season on November 1, 2016. If temperatures permit over the winter months, Golf Rockford staff may allow limited play at Elliot Golf Course. For updated information, visit www.golfrockford.org, or call Rockford Park District Golf Operations at 815-YOU-PLAY (815-968-7529) to be connected to a specific course.
