RAMP Bad Pants Golf Open 2026 in Poplar Grove Supports Illinois Disability Services
A local fundraiser that combines humor and golf to raise vital funds for disability services across Illinois is planned for this June.
Community Event with a Purpose
A colorful tradition returns to northern Illinois as RAMP Disability Resources and Services prepares to host its annual Bad Pants Golf Open on June 17, 2026.
The event will take place at Timber Pointe Golf Club, drawing golfers and supporters from across the region for an afternoon that blends entertainment with advocacy.
Registration begins at 2 p.m., followed by a 3 p.m. shotgun start for a 9-hole scramble. Organizers say the event is designed to be accessible for all skill levels, encouraging both experienced golfers and casual participants to take part.
Fundraising Meets Fun
The outing features contest holes, a silent auction, and a post-round dinner, but the highlight remains the "bad pants" competition, which is an over-the-top style showdown celebrating the most outrageous outfits on the golf course.
Beyond the humor, the fundraiser plays a critical role in supporting RAMP's mission to help individuals with disabilities live independently and fully engage in their communities. Proceeds directly fund programs that provide advocacy, resources, and services across northern Illinois.
Opportunities to Participate
Participants can register online, while local businesses can support the cause through sponsorship packages, many of which include a team entry.
As a United Way partner agency, RAMP continues to rely on community-driven events like this to sustain its services and expand its reach.
