The Moline, Illinois Police Department recently shared a message with music fans who were expected to attend a concert in the area.

With Toto scheduled to take the stage at the Vibrant Arena, the police department wanted to remind concert-goers to plan ahead and stay safe while enjoying the show.

Toto will take the stage at 7:30pm and we will be out there "Holding the Line" directing vehicles and pedestrians into the arena, so allow for extra time and plan ahead.

In the well-written note, the police department playfully referenced some of Toto and Journey's top songs from the 70s and 80s, while also emphasizing the importance of responsible behavior.

They encouraged attendees to arrive early and allow extra time for parking and entering the arena, particularly due to the expected large crowds.

It's going to be a fun night, lots of hip swaying in the stands as we "Faithfully" relive the top songs of 70s and 80s, but "Be Good to Yourself" and celebrate responsibly.

The police department also warned against singing or "Letting It Rain" before everyone was safely inside the arena, and reminded attendees to celebrate responsibly if they chose to indulge in alcohol or cannabis.

They suggested planning ahead by designating a driver or using a ride-sharing program to avoid the dangers of drinking and driving.

We think "Anyway you want it" is a great song but not a great motto when you combine drinking and driving.

Bravo to whoever wrote this message from the Moline Police Department. It was a playful and engaging way to remind music fans to stay safe and responsible while enjoying a concert that took them back to their glory days.
