Located at the intersection of Riverside and Argyle, it's a new reminder of just how much we love a roundabout in the Rockford area, just not enough to actually learn how to use it. Regardless, folks with the city say it'll somehow improve safety and traffic flow.

Could a Four-Way Stop Have Worked Instead?
People are asking to reconsider with suggestions like "Why not just a four-way stop?" and apparently, the city said, nah, "we didn't even consider it." I'm not a Math, Business, or Economics major, but four stop signs are going to come in slightly under the $2 million it's gonna cost to construct this new roundabout.
Construction isn't starting for a few more years yet, so there's time to brace yourself or at the very least hand out a few refresher brochures on how to drive a roundabout.
