Top Chicago Cubs Prospects Playing in Wisconsin This Weekend

Twice a year fans of the Chicago Cubs who live in the Stateline get to watch top prospects of their team play against the Miami Marlins' up-and-coming players when the South Bend Cubs roll into Beloit for a series with the Sky Carp.

Two prospects ranked in the top 5 for the Chicago Cubs will be playing in the series at the ABC Supply Stadium in Beloit this weekend.

The overall #2 ranked prospect in the Cubs farm system is Kevin Alcantara who plays outfield and was a designated hitter for Thursday night's game against the Sky Carp.

The Cubs' top pick in the 2022 MLB Draft was right-handed pitcher Cade Horton who throws one of the best sliders in the Cubs farm system and is currently with the South Bend Cubs. Horton is ranked as the overall #4 prospect with the Cubs.

When Do the South Bend Cubs Play the Sky Carp?

The Cubs won the first two games on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the Sky Carp took game 3 on Thursday night.

Tonight (Friday 5/19) first pitch between South Bend and Beloit is at 6:35 pm, then on Saturday (5/20) it's Bark at the Park. Bring your dog along to ABC Supply Stadium for an afternoon of America's favorite pastime with first pitch at 3:05 pm.

Sunday (5/21) is the series finale and it's Family Fun Days at the ballpark with first-pitch at 1:05 pm.

Tickets for Cubs at Sky Carp are Reasonably Priced

Watching a game at ABC Supply Stadium is a fantastic experience no matter where you sit, or even stand.

Tickets are $14 to $24 each and for the Cubs versus Sky Carp on Sunday (5/21) you can get two seats in the second row behind home plate for a total of $43 ($21.50 per ticket including fees).

After the Cubs depart Beloit this Sunday (5/21), they won't return until the weekend before the 4th of July.
